Director
After obtaining his undergraduate Engineering Degree, Wesley completed his Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (cum-laude) and worked with the University of Pretoria’s engineering research team before joining ALA.

Allan Jacobs
Consultant
Allan Jacobs is a qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA) who joined Associated Loss Adjusters in 2025 as a Financial Loss Adjuster. He holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree from the University of the Witwatersrand.
He brings over 20 years of financial and analytical experience gained in both corporate and consulting environments. During this time, Allan has managed a broad range of complex financial loss matters, including Business Interruption, Stock Loss, and Fidelity Guarantee claims arising from major insured events across South Africa.
His extensive financial background and analytical capability support the accurate assessment and quantification of losses across diverse industries.

Patricia Sithole
Associate
Patricia has a Bachelor of Accounting degree obtained from the University of Johannesburg. After applying her trade outside the industry for several years, she joined ALA, where her business knowledge has made her a valuable part of the business interruption team.

Andrew Cook
Associate
Andrew has gained experience in a number of industries over the years namely; Construction, Manufacturing, Heavy Machinery and Mining. Before joining ALA in 2023, Andrew gained industry knowledge conducting adjustments following the 2021 KZN riots and 2022 floods.

Edwina Pryce
Associate
With over 14 years of experience in the legal and insurance fields, Edwina specialises in complex and high-value liability claims. Edwina holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology as well as a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree and was in an insurance litigation practice as an admitted attorney at a top-tier law firm. She was also a Specialist Claims Advocate at a global broking firm and represented a multitude of large corporate clients in various aspects of their insurance policies, including coverage, claims, and dispute resolution. Having also been a Legal/Liability Loss Adjuster at a global Loss Adjusting Firm, she has investigated and resolved complex claims across multiple sectors and jurisdictions.

William Pringle
Associate
William commenced his insurance career at Mutual and Federal in 1999. Over the past 26 years, he has held a range of roles within the industry, including in Claims, in-house Assessing, and Forensic Investigations. Following nine years at Mutual & Federal, William joined AIG as a Financial Lines Consultant, managing Fidelity Guarantee, Bankers Blanket Bond, Commercial Crime, and Liability claims.
In 2008, he returned to loss adjusting with Crawford & Company South Africa. After eight years, he was offered a role with Crawford & Co Australia, later completing his
tenure at LMI Group before returning to South Africa. William has been involved in numerous claims which exceeded ZAR1B for multinationals, across all spheres, including Manufacturing, Retail and REIT.

Financial Manager
Varusca is an integral part of the ALA team and is responsible for Finance, Administration, and Human Resources.
Rob Masselli
Consultant
Rob is a Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager with more than 17 years’ experience in the construction industry.
He holds a BSc (Honours) degree in Construction Management from the University of Cape Town and has worked across a broad range of commercial, industrial, residential and infrastructure projects.
Throughout his career, Rob has been involved in all stages of the project lifecycle, from inception through to final account.
In addition to his construction background, Rob’s expertise include insurance-related quantity surveying services and plays a key role in the accurate preparation of Repair Cost estimates and the determination of replacement values for structures and associated assets.

Podile Kgwete
Associate
Podile Kgwete is a qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA) who joined Associated Loss Adjusters in 2026 as a Financial Loss Adjuster. He holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree from the University of the Witwatersrand.
Podile completed his articles in 2012 in public practice, specialising in insurance. He has since gained invaluable experience in insurance outside of public practice.
He brings over 10 years of financial and analytical experience gained in both corporate and consulting environments.

Owen Dixon
Director
Owen has been in the insurance and claims environment for more than 35 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Durban office. He is a Member of the Insurance Institute of Loss Adjusters of Southern Africa and the Insurance Institute of Kwa-Zulu Natal.

Ross Weedon
Director
Ross holds a BA (Journalism) degree and an Advanced Certificate in Short-Term Insurance. Ross is:
- an Associate of the Institute of Loss Adjusters of Southern Africa,
- an Associate of the Insurance Institute of South Africa, and
- an Associate of the International Federation of Adjusting Associations
He is a past Chairman of the Southern Gauteng Region of the Institute of Loss Adjusters of Southern Africa and an Exco Member of the National Committee of the Institute of Loss Adjusters of Southern Africa.

Cameron Finch
Associate
Cameron is an admitted attorney with a Bachelor of Accounting and Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Stellenbosch.
He has been practicing as a Loss Adjuster for 2 years, and with his legal and accounting background, has dealt with a wide range of claims, from Business Interruption losses to Public Liability claims.
